Team Building through the Fear of the Unknown Program takes place in a former mortuary 1916-1936: Let me introduce you to some of the spirit residents?
Why the Fear of the unknown
It forces people out of their comfort zones
Fear is a primordial reaction to the unknown and Fear can be a manipulating and controlling factor in an individual's life where most people in stressful situations tend to develop “tunnel vision” and only see one solution to the given problem blinding people to other potential solutions and options that could be of benefit to the company.
Why Ghosts? The use of ghosts as an example is not tied to the paranormal or the supernatural or whether anyone believes in their existence or not. Ghosts represent the very best example of the unknown where people have already created a perceived notion about them whether based on personal experience or perceptions and opinions on what others have said not knowing if they are fact or fiction.
They either accept or fear them without even really knowing why:
They represent the unknown, they are not understood and you are unable to comprehend who they are or what they want.
There is no perceived control over ghosts and therefore, there is no control over the perceived consequences resulting in a feeling of helplessness.
Can the emotions associated with the fear of ghosts be the same as those felt with a new boss, departments downsizing or merging, company moving in a new direction, etc. where the fears of those unknowns can have an impact on your employee's performance and confidence?
Fear of the Unknown impacts your employee's performance and your bottomline through first impressions and stereotyping of cultural and religious diversity:
A company's bottomline, existence, growth maximization, and it's ability to remain competitive is tied to it's workforce and unlike a building or a piece of machinery, the Human Intellectual Capital is a tangible asset that tends to appreciate vs. depreciates. The diversity of a company's employee base is a collection of individual experiences, backgrounds, and cultures that can view problems and challenges from a wide-variety of lenses and Diversity is about empowering people and Diversity is what builds teams.
EncouragingCreative Thinking among Employees is now the single most important tool within the industry as this has a noticeable impact on the corporate market, with businesses and brands increasingly on the look out for innovative ways of team building and improving productivity.
Our bias and prejudice are deeply rooted within us. From the moment when we are born, we learn about our environment, the world, and ourselves and since they shape our perceptions about how we view things and how we respond to them. Since they are deeply rooted, they are very hard to change and if we allow our bias to shade our perceptions of what people are capable of, then the bias is harmful as we start prejudging others on what we think that they can or cannot do and that manifests itself into a myriad of problems for any business.
The brain is wired for fear learning. In the presence of a threatening stimulus, the body goes into a fight or flight mode and once the person goes into safe mode, the brain will remember many of the details surrounding the situation that leads to fear conditioning. When a person goes into a heighten awareness and is unable to either fight or flight, stress then becomes the culprit as the body has energy that it does not know what to do with. Stress or even the perception of stress cannot be eliminated and it is considered as” The 21st. CenturyDiseasewhere it is estimated that:
75%-90% of all visits to primary care physicians are for stress related problems.
50%-80% of all physical disorders have stress of psychosomatic related origins.
75% of all work illness is stress related.
This strange energy was captured by time lapse photography in an area where it is believed to be a vortex or spirit portal. Makes you wonder especially after witnessing some interesting things associated with it?
When confronted with circumstances beyond that which we can see, touch, and therefore rationalize, a person must then rely upon a different and perhaps a hidden set of skills to understand, accept and appreciate that there may be other options and possibilities to consider. We filter out what we perceive or not perceive by not trusting in our innate intuition to be able to feel confident outside of our comfort zones.
In order to build successful teams, there is a pressing need to empower and encourage individuals by exposing a team to the right level of challenge builds relationship, team self-esteem and a “can do” attitude. Carefully designed simulations enable potential debilitating emotional landscapes to be experienced and overcome in a safe environment.
An orb is believed to be a spirit and watch an orb in motion that can be seen moving under it's own direction and purpose which would suggest that it is intelligent and is it proof of an afterlife?

I can’t say enough about our day at Warehouse on the Canal! Our Teambuilding experience allowed us to all work together while having fun. Ken and Sheila really helped us along when we were stuck, which I really appreciated. Our day included a catered lunch in the quirkily-decorated sitting area upstairs, and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere. The Fear of the Unknown transitioned into a comfort of the company we shared throughout the day. Ken and Sheila also helped coordinate and set up the event, and I cannot thank them enough! Thanks for helping us come together and grow, Ken! This is an experience that will not soon be forgotten!
Thanks, and have a great day!
